Categories
The alarms collected by the application can be categorized.
Blocking Alarms
As for blocking alarms, they are divided into:
Aborted: the machine is stopped and not ready to run. Alarms are present that prevent power from being restored
Stopped: the machine is stopped and ready to run. No alarms are present to prevent power restoration
Suspended: the machine is running, but is not performing the intended operations in the current mode due to external problems. Typical cases are no product at the input (Starved) or full at the output (Blocked)
Held: The machine is running, but is not performing the intended operations in the current mode due to internal problems. This situation is typical of routine operations, which the operator must perform to continue production, and is a consequence of a non-blocking anomaly or operator request.
Non-Blocking Alarms
There are also categories assigned to non-blocking alarms:
Completed: the machine has finished its intended operations for the current mode and is waiting for a Reset command to return to the Idle state
Messaging: message not necessarily related to a machine state
