Shift Invalidation

This page can be used by the user to manage planned shifts. In particular, under certain conditions, there may be a need to invalidate some work shifts. Invalidating these shifts results in considering the time they cover as planned downtime. The data recorded during that time interval will not be used for calculating KPIs for the current machine.

The outcome of shift invalidation can be observed when working with the calendar activated.

The Shift Validation page displays all work shifts set through the calendar and a series of KPIs calculated with the data associated with each specific shift.

To invalidate a shift, the user needs to select the pen-shaped button at the end of each row, which will open a new window where the current operation needs to be confirmed.

The last column in the table indicates whether the displayed shift is to be considered valid or if it has been invalidated by the user.
