Machine States

This is followed by the definition of machine states, which are recurrent in webapp modules:

• Idle: the machine is in a condition to produce, but is not operational

• Productive: the machine is producing

• Downtime: the machine is in a down state

Downtime is divided into:

• Stop: the machine is in standstill due to internal causes

• Preparation: the machine is being prepared

• Suspension: the machine is stopped due to external causes
