Cost Trend

This module allows for the display of all the necessary information to carry out a correct analysis of costs in relation to the production of the selected machine.

On the right, it is possible to select the Time Interval within which to perform the analysis and the Temporal Aggregation.

At the top of the screen, three boxes are displayed containing the following information:

  • Cost per kilo unit: a donut chart summarizing the costs per unit produced. The chart shows the percentages of consumables that have contributed to the formation of the final cost;

  • Production: general information on global production, such as the total number of units produced, the total cost for their production, the cost per single unit;

  • Consumables: a list of all the consumables considered for the analysis is displayed. For each of them, the quantity used and the cost per single unit are specified.

Note that the production unit can be customized for each project. Some examples could be per piece, per kilogram, per meter. Thus, there would be cost per piece, cost per kilogram, cost per meter, and so on.

In the lower part of the screen, a graph is displayed showing the time trend of the cost of each consumable. The granularity of the graph is determined by the previously chosen temporal aggregation. By moving the cursor on the graph, it is possible to display, for each trace, a detailed tooltip.
